What is a webinar

A Webinar is a seminar conducted on the World Wide Web and viewed with a computer with an internet connection. Webinars include a visual presentation and an audio broadcast that is accessed through the computer.

Where are Webinars held?

Because the content of the Webinar is delivered directly to your computer, there's no need to travel anywhere. You may ‘attend’ a Webinar anywhere there's a computer with Web access. Webinars allow the sharing of information without the travel and inconvenience associated with traditional seminars and workshops.

However, you will only be able to access the webinar via the secure-code link provided by email.

If located in an area that prohibits seminar attendance, webinars may be chosen instead.

How do I participate in a Webinar?

Joining a webinar is a four-step process:
1) Booking 2) Payment 3) Registration 4) Log in

Once payment is confirmed, an email titled ‘Your Webinar Invitation’ will be issued, containing a link for the participant to register for the webinar. Registration should be made as soon as possible after receiving this email on the computer to be used for the webinar.

Each link may be used on one computer only. The webinar fee is for one registration for one computer, not per person.

Only one invitation will be issued when there are two sequential webinars, as participants will simply stay connected for the second webinar, which will follow immediately.

After registration is completed, another email will be sent with instructions for logging in to the webinar on the day. Attendees are asked to log in 10 minutes prior to commencement in case they have problems connecting.

A telephone number will be provided to call us if there are any problems joining a webinar.

Can more than one person attend a webinar?

Yes, certainly. The webinar fee is for one registration for one computer, not per person.

How do I ask questions of the presenter during a Webinar?

We do not allow questions during webinars, as we find that all questions that come up are addressed later in the session.

However, we welcome questions by email following the webinars.

How much participation is required of me?

Simply watching the slide presentation and listening to the audio broadcast.

Will other people be aware that I am attending?

Only our staff will know that you are attending a Webinar.

Must I attend the Webinar at the time that it is presented?

The link sent to you will only be available for the time and day you have selected. If you are not able to attend, you must notify us prior to the webinar so that another date can be selected.
